Staff MEB Posted August 21, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 21, 2016 Hi socapex, I'm not sure what you mean by "un-precise tool" but if you just want to add it to an existing document press the Insert Artboard button in the context toolbar with the Artboard Tool selected. It will insert a new artboard with the same dimensions as your document. Version 1.5 (still in Beta) has separated tool buttons for Move and Artboard Tools by default so things should be easier/quicker from now on. If you want to start with an artboard based document there's a checkbox labelled Create Artboard right on top of the New Document dialog.
