Whitbyweather
Hi, I am a complete novice and I need to resize photos for use on my website. I have managed to do this successfully but I cannot see the size of the completed photo in kb, I need to know this to ensure the picture is small enough for use on the web. To further add to my confusion I opened one of my JPEG pictures which was 274kb, but in Affinity it showed the size as 1.03 mb! I hope someone can help. Many thanks, Whitbyweather
Fixx
In JPG export AP shows you an estimate of final size. I saved 1050X1050 image with 50% quality, estimate was 117 kB, Finder info told 119869 bytes (123 kB in disk). Close enough I would say. Whitbyweather
Many thanks for your reply. I have found the save option and that is just what I needed! I am finding the combination of my first Mac coupled with a new graphics program quite a steep learning curve. Best wishes, Whitbyweather
