darita
I'm new to photo editing. I'm using AP to clean up old clock dials that are mostly black and white. I use the brush tool quite a bit to go over the faded numerals and lettering. When I print them out on a laser printer, the black looks like the blacks are beginning to bleed. I'd like to know what I can do in AP to lighten the blacks to keep the edges clean? Thanks for the help and please, be gentle, I'm new at this. darita
Sorry...one more thing...when I go to a levels adjustment and "lighten", I see no visible change in the blacks on the dial. Should I see and change? If I lighten here, will the printer give me less saturated blacks?
Staff Leigh Posted August 22, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 22, 2016 You could try using a Curves Adjustment instead. This video explains how to use them: Affinity Photo - Curves Feel free to attach your image to this thread for us to help you further :)
