When using the node tool, it could be handy to split a curve segment in half. Eye-balling doesn't work very well in some cases. In other words, select at least 2 contiguous nodes, and add a new node in the middle. Not a big deal to me, but I think it might be handy. Waiting most anxiously for "symbols."
