Rasterize to new pixel layer

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

how about rasterizing a layer to a new pixel layer and leave the source layer as it is?

What do you think about this? I think this could be helpful if you want to add a mask to some areas of the

layer but need the original layer as a backdrop.

Best regards!

One thing that I do appreciate about Manga Studio, is when I want to rasterize text, the dialog always gives me the option to save the original layer. Which has saved me a few times (thanks to Typos and such). I think the option to keep the original layer is there if I try to rasterize a Manga Studio vector layer.

+1 to this request.
