darita
I'm using AP to restore vintage clock dials. These dials have two outer rings that generally have to be redrawn. I used the doughnut tool to draw them once, adjusting the radius and inner circle size. When I started a new dial, I went to use the doughnut tool again and found that it gives me a true doughnut, covering everything between the inner and outer lines. On the first one I used the tool for, it only gave me two concentric circles, with everything between showing through. What did I do differently on the second dial? Alfred
It sounds as though you didn't give it a fill the first time around. darita
Thanks...that's what I did or didn't do. The first time, the fill went to none somehow, without my knowing it. I hunted around and finally found that I could fill or not fill the doughnut. Now I know. I'm so new to all of this, but learning every time I use AP.
