toricerda
I'm fairly new at graphics, but I'm running into a problem I'm not sure how to solve. I need to create an angled cap to lines I'm placing in a graphic. The lines are only 2.5 width, so I haven't been able to add a shape to the end on them to create the angles, nor can I place the lines behind a layer to cut them off at the correct angle for this particular graphic. Is there a way to angle the caps of the lines?
Staff MEB Posted August 8, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 8, 2016 Hi toricerda, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) There's no way to set the angle of the line caps other than using the processes you're describing. Have you tried to zoom in? I don't see why you can't add a shape to hide the part you don't want visible. Zoom ir, draw a half square cut diagonally (it can be bigger the the line width) and place it over the line. Group the line and the "half square" and set the square's layer blend mode to Erase (so you can still keep the line width editable).
