owensk Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 Whilst changing colours on my design all the icons disappeared. I have closed the program down 5 times. I then shut down the computer then reopened the program. The icons appeared but once I clicked on the icon for altering the colour they all have disappeared again. What have I done ? owensk Posted August 6, 2016 Author Share Posted August 6, 2016 Affinity designer 1.4.2 on a Mac. I am not great with computers just getting by really. I was using it and then the icons just went blank. All the screen around my design is now black. Staff MEB Posted August 6, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 6, 2016 Hi owensk, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Have you pressed the TAB key on your keyboard? It hides the interface panels / toolbars. Press Tab again to unhide them. If this isn't the cause of the problem, press and hold ⌃(ctrl) while launching the app from the Launchpad then press Clear in the dialog that will appear to reset the application.
