anon1
RAW opens way to dark, drag any slider and drag it back to initial state and it looks as it always has don´t know what causes this but does´t seem to be too bad (doesn´t look bad either :D ) (Sony ARW from alpha6300)
Goughy
I can confirm this. I use an Olympus Stylus 1s camera. Open a .ORF file in the new Beta. Image is dark initially. Clicking "Exposure" off and on again in the right panel restores the image to its proper setting. Exiting Photo and restarting - opening the .ORF shows the same behavior. However, opening an .afphoto file from a previous instance shows the image correctly.

Staff MEB Posted August 5, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2016 Seems a general issue no matter the RAW format. Touching any slider or enabling/disabling a checkbox/control/tool seems to fix the issue. This is already logged. Staff MEB Posted August 5, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2016 JPG's are processed images. The issue is only with RAW formats. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Nana
I can confirm this is the case with my raw files as well. Selecting Zoom Tool or View Tool restores the image to the correct exposure. RAW files from Canon G1X
