As someone living in Southern Europe, the immediate relation I could find with that décor was of Northern European Christmas/Starry Night festivity. Hence the idea of joyful gift.

Do you have any way of testing that? We can see the largest numbers mentioned on these forums in relation to any given issue-tracking project, but more often than not we don’t even know whether an issue has been reported as a bug to be fixed or an improvement to be implemented, and some bugs may be trivial things like spelling errors. If you see a tag like HCL-1234 you may be able to work out from the context what the issue description might look like, and the discussion around it may tell you something about its severity in terms of its impact on the user, but without inside knowledge we can’t say whether it’s a high or low priority issue from the developers’ point of view, and we only know that an issue has been fixed if a Serif staff member or the Affinity Info Bot tells us about it.

Generally if the bug tag starts "APL-" then it was reported as a suggested improvement. Tags beginning "AF-" (or the older range "AFD-", "AFB-", etc. which are slowly migrating into the "AF-" numbering if they are still unfixed) were reported as suspected bugs.
