Jurcek Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Hello, I'd like to propose a few features for Affinity Designer 2 that I believe would significantly enhance the user experience and expand its capabilities. Firstly, an API for Affinity Designer 2 would be incredibly beneficial. Specifically, I'm thinking about how it could allow a plugin like Overlord 2 to connect directly from Designer into After Effects for animation. This direct connection would drastically speed up my workflow and could unlock a wealth of new possibilities for creators to develop additional functionality for the app. Secondly, I would love to see the addition of Pages to Affinity Designer 2. Having multiple pages would help me much better organize my project files instead of working within one large, often messy, artboard. This would be a huge for managing complex projects. Lastly, while I understand it's a significant undertaking, I also dream of seeing components implemented in Affinity Designer 2, similar to how Figma handles them. This would revolutionize design consistency and efficiency, but I understand that these are massive requests. Maybe these things already exist and I just dont know. Thank you for considering these suggestions! Quote

Alternatively, you can create a document in APublisher with several pages, and then work with it in ADesigner (although manipulating the pages is not very convenient). For my clients, I find myself having so many artboards and massive files (spacewise, not storage) just to seperate the artboards for one subpage and another subpage and so on. It is not a very common issue I guess, but it gets very cluttered and I still try to stay as organised as possible. I use this page feature in figma and so do many other people and thats why I think it really should be considered. Quote
