Paige Posted June 14 Posted June 14 operating system and version : Windows 11 V24H2. Affinity Designer is current 2.6.3 Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON (Invidia RTX 4070) What happened for you, Provide a recipe : Created a circle 1000mm in diameter, exported it as an svg. Imported it into Blender 4.4 and the measurements are 800mm now diameter. Did the same test with a square 2000mm in AD, exported svg, import into Blender 4.4, measures are now 1599.7mm? To verify that it is not an import issue with Blender I tested this with other 2d illustration software and had NO issues (the imported scaling was correct). Quote
Oufti Posted June 14 Posted June 14 (edited) Check if there is no scaling: https://affinity.help/designer2/English.lproj/pages/GetStarted/drawingScale.html P.S. Sorry, testing proves that it would be visible in the Transform panel, so you'd have seen it. More probably related to resolution problem (different in Designer than when imported in Blender). Hangman Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Hi @Paige, I believe the issue you're seeing is because Affinity apps use 72 dpi and Blender uses 96 dpi (as do most apps). Take a look at this post and see whether the workaround resolves the issue... Based on the size your objects are appearing at in Blender, it suggests your Affinity Document is set to or is exporting at 90 dpi, i.e., ((800 / 1000) x 100) = 80% ((1599.7 / 2,000) x 100 = 80% so ((72 / 90) x 100 = 80% MmmMaarten and Oufti 2 Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
