IF anyone can read it, CW: Could technically contain the Word "porn"

fractal.porn_banner_WiP.webp

EDIT: weird, I thought the transparency should work …??

2nd EDIT:
What's the safest way to use transparency with WebP? I want to use those logos etc. on my website which is in "natural dark mode" (so only dark mode available) … Should I use PNG instead?

IF I ever get to animations: How do I animate in Designer? or do y'all suggest different programmes altogether?

It does contain the word 'porn' ... 😕

What is your question? What file format did you upload?

The image as viewable here is in WebP format. It seems unlikely that the forum software would have converted to WebP from another format.

Another forum that I frequent does convert everything to WebP! But I don't think that's the case here, unless it happens when you copy and paste.

If you can use .webp for a website you should.  It's optimized for that use case and will load faster as I understand.

Yes, WebP supports transparency and will give you smaller file sizes than PNG. It has a lossless option when you export from Affinity Designer - what are you using?

The Affinity apps don’t have any animation features at all. Not even editing the frames in an animated GIF.
