MIB4u Posted June 10 Posted June 10 (edited) IF anyone can read it, CW: Could technically contain the Word "porn" EDIT: weird, I thought the transparency should work …?? 2nd EDIT: What's the safest way to use transparency with WebP? I want to use those logos etc. on my website which is in "natural dark mode" (so only dark mode available) … Should I use PNG instead? IF I ever get to animations: How do I animate in Designer? or do y'all suggest different programmes altogether? Edited June 10 by MIB4u clarity Quote
Ali Posted June 10 Posted June 10 It does contain the word 'porn' ... 😕 What is your question? What file format did you upload? It seems unlikely that the forum software would have converted to WebP from another format. But I don't think that's the case here, unless it happens when you copy and paste. It's optimized for that use case and will load faster as I understand. Alfred 1 Quote
Ali Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Yes, WebP supports transparency and will give you smaller file sizes than PNG. It has a lossless option when you export from Affinity Designer - what are you using? Not even editing the frames in an animated GIF.
