Hi Hugo,

A button to Smooth nodes will appear on the context bar once you have either the Pen Tool or the Node Tool selected :)

Adding to what Callum said, you can use the Smooth Curve button from the Action section (third icon) in the context toolbar whit the Pen Tool/Node Tool selected to remove/smooth a few nodes from a path, but there isn't a slider to dynamically do this as in other apps yet.

When I draw a squiggly line with the Pencil Tool in build 1.5.0.8 on Windows, selecting the object with the Node Tool and pressing the 'Smooth curve' button gives me more nodes instead of fewer.

Thanks, Miguel. It does seem to help a bit if I use it twice, but there's clearly room for improvement! I hope we get a slider control for it at some point.

By the way, shouldn't 'Expand Stroke' be greyed out if the selected object doesn't actually have a stroke applied?
