AmyArts Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I am wondering where I can find Adobe fonts specifically OTF or TIF for use with Affinity. I have a customer who wants a specific Brand font which I cannot find in AF. Much appreciated! Quote
Hangman Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Hi @AmyArts and welcome to the forums, If you're doing commercial work for the client, I would expect them to provide access to their Brand Font as part of the contract. If not, then you would have to purchase it, but if that is the case, then I'd include that as an added cost when you invoice them. Aptly is made by Shinntype, you can purchase individual weights or packages which include various weights or the entire font family, depending on your needs... https://shinntype.com/ Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.3 | Affinity Photo 2.6.3 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.3 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
LoveDesign Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Exactly. If they request it then you bake it into the cost. Quote
B064RT Posted May 20 Posted May 20 nah, for commercial use, buy the font from the platform, then charge the customer with of course 200% increase from its price... that where designer living from.. Quote
Taxicab Messiah Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Affinity Photo is not a place where you look for fonts. It has literally zero fonts. Typing "aptly font" into google is sure to point you in the right direction. Quote
