DaleL Posted May 10 Posted May 10 How come I can't find the way to warp my text in affinity photo while using the artistic test? Seem to find videos that say the artistic text tool is the same in photo and designer. Quote
Old Bruce Posted May 10 Posted May 10 You need to have the text as a pixel layer, convert the text to pixels. The warp tool will not work with vectors. Designer has a vector warp layer item and that will not work with pixels. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.

It is, but as has been explained, the warp tools are not quite the same. AD has both the Vector warp meshes available through the button at the bottom of the Layers panel in the Designer Persona, & a Live Mesh Warp filter available from the Layer menu in its Pixel Persona. Affinity Photo has no Vector warp mesh option (or a designer persona) in its Layers panel but it has both destructive & non-destructive mesh warps. So if you are using Affinity Photo the method @AffinityJules suggested will work fine. Hint: the path to that function is Layer menu > New Live Filer > Distort > Mesh Warp... There are also other live distort options you might find useful on that menu.
