We are pleased to announce an update for the iPad release of Affinity Photo 2 for iPad, version 2.6.3

The changes in Affinity Photo 2 for iPad 2.6.3 are listed in this FAQ forum thread, with the fixed bugs listed in the last post:

Those are the changes made since the last release Affinity Photo 2.6.2 for iPadOS

UPDATING TO THIS VERSION (which is free for all V2 users)

The software version can be seen in the bottom left the corner of preferences screen.

Your Affinity iPad apps should update automatically next time you run them. However, you do need to be logged in with the same Apple ID you used to buy them.

If the automatic update does not happen for you, go to the iPad Store app and tap your profile icon at the top right , which opens an "Account" window with your name at the top and available updates. If you don't see the new update listed, then drag down on that screen to get the refresh spinner & after a short wait this new update should appear. However, don’t panic if the updates are not available for you yet—Apple sometimes phase roll outs around the world and this can take up to 24 hours.

Thanks for the update, Patrick. The detailed instructions for checking and refreshing the App Store updates are helpful—good to know about the possible delay with the phased rollout. Will keep an eye out for the update on my iPad.

I can't imagine it would take 4 weeks for Apple to roll it out, though, so if you're not seeing it there may be some other issue.

Four weeks does seem like an unconscionably long time.
