Why Can't AP remember the last used folder for Importing files??

It seems like a super basic code to include - "remember the last used folder for Import". I shoot lots of bracketed photos and panoramics. So being able to select "Create HDR" and go right to my designated folder for raw files is critical for not wasting time clicking and waiting for my drive to repopulate thumbnails. Would LOVE to see this added in an update!

Because Serif has not wanted to accommodate customer requests and similar wishes regarding folder behavior throughout the Affinity suite since 2016. On the other hand, it increases my joy in using programs other than Affinity, and makes any other software purchase a bit easier.
