Sorry, i can't find a way to get a proper text layout with hyphenation in A-designer – this only works in A-publisher. OK now let me paste this document as a linked object 1:1 into designer – this would be great – OR enable designer with this text functionality or give it a better placing in the UI.

Thanks a lot!

Hi @thomato, Welcome to the Forum

Maybe you could work slightly differently and either work in Publisher and use the Designer Persona when you need it. Or, if you want to primarily work in Designer, use Edit in Publisher to do the text layout, then go back to Designer.

The file formats are one in the same, so as @PaulEC suggested, you can simply open the Designer document in Publisher to access its text tools.  File -> Edit in Publisher from within Designer, then File -> Edit in Designer from within Publisher, makes it fairly simple to pass the document back and forth between the apps, or if you only need the Designer persona, you can access that within Publisher itself.
