Sorry to hear that's happening. Are you getting any crash reports? walt.farrell Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Thanks. Unfortunately, I'm not skilled enough at reading Windows .dmp files and I don't know much about the internals of Photo so I can't see anything relevant there. When Serif gets to this it will probably help them. jeyelle 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. As it's crashing, I would have probably posted it in the Bugs section rather than Questions, but they should get to it in either location. But if you've used the contact form or the email address they'll certainly see it. Staff Lee D Posted May 12 Staff Posted May 12 @jeyelle Can you follow the steps below to check for the Log.txt file, this may help in narrowing down why Photo isn't opening for you. Once copied to your desktop, please upload here. For EXE/MSI: Open File Explorer and paste this into the address bar: %appdata%\affinity\photo\2.0 Copy the log.txt file to your desktop For the MSIX: Open Windows Run and paste this into the address bar: %userprofile%\.affinity\photo\2.0 Copy the log.txt file to your desktop Out of interest when you did the CTRL run up did you also try selecting the option to Disable Hardware Acceleration as well?
