CalmBrain Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I've got a bunch of slides I've scanned in a mix of landscape and portait orientations. The batch tool only allows to specify a height or width but what I really need is to be able to define the long or short edge and have it scale appropriately. Thanks for all your hard work and your consideration! Quote

I may be overthinking this but I'm not exactly sure what you want to do Can you provide a couple of examples (one portrait and one landscape) specifying the original dimensions and what you want the batch job to resize them to? CalmBrain Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 Yeah of course, for example I've got 2 photos, one's 2400 x 3000 and the other is 3000 x 2400. I want the long edge to be 1000 pixels so that would resize them to 800 x 1000 and 1000 x 800 respectively. Quote
carl123 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Thanks If you specify the width to be 1000 and the height to also be 1000 plus keep the aspect ratio icon ticked, that should do as you want Alfred and Old Bruce 2 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
