I love using the Apple Pencil with ‘Touch for Gestures Only’ switched on, as it often helps prevent accidental strokes being drawn without your knowledge, as the iPad's palm rejection is far from perfect.

Having said that, sometimes the keyboard and mouse are more useful for precise operations such as text editing. However, ‘Touch for Gestures Only’ seems to disable mouse operations at the same time. It would be very helpful if mouse operations stay available, as we do not need to worry about palm rejection failures with it.

I am using Designer 2.6.2.3228 with an iPad Air M2 and Magic Mouse.
