princeteck Posted May 2 Posted May 2 I will try to keep it short! I saved some gradient style in designer 2 or future usage. And I am observing below issues: 1) after creating some gradients style stored are getting corrupted/ pixelated. image shared below. 2) not all are affected and its random. but once its pixelated it stays the same way. 3) OS is MacOS and windows. MacOS mostly all the time. 4) This is not an export issue. It exist when designing as well. Quote
NotMyFault Posted May 3 Posted May 3 We would need a afdesign file. Most probably you used some noise for the colors. on Desktop, the noise slider and opacity slider in color panel are combined. Clicking it will swap the strength of noise depends on size of objects. It becomes more visible the smaller objects get. princeteck Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 @NotMyFault I have not applied any noise or opacity settings from my side. I just copied colors code from web and created a style, save it while it was working. next time I launched the designer 2. I had this issue. any idea how I can check the noise and opacity or existing applied object via those style? Quote
NotMyFault Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Select the layer use gradient tool click on the upper node from gradient. It has 14 or 15% noise use color panel to inspect value of noise slider. Click once on small opacity circle to switch if required Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. thomaso Posted May 3 Posted May 3 By the way / just in case: To save just gradients for later reuse the Styles panel is not required, you can simply save them in any palette of the Swatches panel.
