Ukrainian Keyboard Not Working in Affinity Designer 2 on iPad

Hello,

 

I’m experiencing an issue with the Ukrainian keyboard in Affinity Designer 2 on iPad. I have added the Ukrainian keyboard layout through iPadOS settings, and it works perfectly in other apps (like Notes and Safari). However, when I try to enter text in Affinity Designer 2, the Ukrainian keyboard doesn’t show up — only the default (English) layout appears.

 

I’ve tried:

 

• Switching keyboard using the globe icon and hardware shortcuts
• Restarting the app and the iPad
• Verifying that the keyboard is active in system settings

 

 

Nothing has resolved the issue so far.

 

Could you confirm whether Ukrainian keyboard input is officially supported in Affinity Designer for iPad? If not, is there any known workaround or planned support in a future update?

I don’t write or speak Ukrainian, but the Ukrainian keyboard works for me in Affinity Designer 2 on iPad. Which version of iPadOS are you using, and on what model of iPad?
