flemingbarto Posted May 1 Posted May 1 I know this is not supposed to happen, as I have done this before on a previous install. I factory reset my computer yesterday as I had unrelated os issues. The video is from the second install post reset, I reinstalled after having the problem the first time. It also happens to text frames with text, but I could not easily show that with my video. Also after deleting the original asset, I can't replace it; I have to reload the file. Screen Recording 2025-05-01 at 12.27.17 PM.mov Quote
RE4LLY Posted May 1 Posted May 1 What happens if you disable the Inline In Text Option and then add the table to the asset panel? Are you having the same issue? As when that option is enabled you aren't even supposed to be able to drag your table outside the associated text frame and so the behavior you see after deleting the asset is actually what is supposed to be the standard behavior at least to my knowledge. I for example cannot even replicate your issue as I am unable to drag the table outside the text frame in the first place with the Inline option enabled (Tested on multiple Publisher Versions, but on Windows, so might be a Mac specific issue) and when the Inline option is disabled I can add the table to the asset panel and place it back in the same size without issues. flemingbarto Posted May 1 Author Posted May 1 That is so incredibly weird, I disabled inline and it stayed the same size. I guess previously I made the table from scratch opposed to the one in a template, and that's why it worked. Thank you very much Quote
