David Ch Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Hi All, I am struggling to find a solution to create a multi-level list within a frame paragraph. In attachment I've illustrated using Word what I try to achieve using Affinity Designer 2.6.2 on Windows desktop. May you please help? How to simply do it? This should be simple.. I'm baffled that I cannot find the solution myself using the online help. Many thanks in advance, David Quote
MikeTO Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Hi @David Ch and welcome to the forums. The easiest way to figure this out is to use the default paragraph styles, Bullet 1, Bullet 2, and Bullet 3. Take a look at their settings and you'll see how it works. Using the "Next Level" feature is important because then you can use Tab or Shift+Tab to increase or decrease the bullet level. For more information, please see the bulleted list section of my free Publisher manual which you can download from this forum: David Ch 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.5, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)

However the answer is generally correct, create individual paragraph styles for each level, but be aware that you have to manually apply the styles to each individual level as the Increase or Decrease Level function does not exist in Designer, that is only a feature in Publisher. For creating the different styles you can simply follow any Publisher tutorial which explains bullet lists though as that process is the same in both programs. David Ch 1 Quote
MikeTO Posted May 1 Posted May 1 Thanks, I missed that it was for Designer. Here's a Publisher document with the Bullet 1, 2, and 3 styles that can be opened in Designer to give you Publisher's default bullet styles.
