problems with the contour tool

I posted in the body of this topic a problem I'm having with the contour tool, which instead of generating smooth curves after expansion, it fragments the curves into several small fragments to simulate a curve. Any solution? Thanks.

If you search the forums for contour you will find lots of exiting existing threads which mention this.

Exciting threads, perhaps, or (much more likely!) existing threads, but probably not ‘exiting’ ones.

I’ve read a few posts which have said something along the lines of “I’m leaving these forums because of <some reason or other>”.

Could they be classed as ‘exiting threads’, i.e. a thread where someone is declaring their exit from the forums?
