Does this only happen with a specific Publisher document or with any or all documents?

If just one specific document, can you upload it so we can take a look at what is causing the crash?

I seemed to have found a solution. After uninstalling and reinstalling Designer, it seems to be working well. No more crashing. Apparently, it's a problem with Sequoia 15.4.1.

I'm experiencing the same problem with both publisher and designer - it's been awful. Both programs used to work fantastic, but over the past few months I haven't had a single session using either tool where they didn't randomly crash 1-4 times, often within the first 5 minutes of opening a project (no matter the file size).

I've installed all updated versions when prompted - is this just due to bad updates and is it possible to revert back to a previous version that worked without issue?

Possible but unlikely. It would help if we knew if you are a Mac or Windows user, & what your performance settings are for the 2 crashing apps, like if hardware acceleration is enabled, & possibly the basic hardware specs of your system.
