Shelly Posted April 28 Posted April 28 HELLO ALL, I need to make 2 videos using still pictures for a presentation for a client. Before I abandoned the other software Creative Suite, its seems they had video software, but I cant remember. What do you recommend for this type of project? Quote
Bryce Posted April 28 Posted April 28 stick with creative suite (Premiere) if you have it. Affinity does not have nor intends to pursue video editing. If you have no experience video editing, you might want to just use the quick one from your OS maker. Quote
Old Bruce Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Real steep learning curve but DaVinci Resolve is free and cross platform and there are all sorts of Youtube tutorials. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Since you seem to be using a Mac (according to your forum posts history), just go with iMovie. It's simple enough for an absolute newbie, and good enough – albeit not necessarily fast – to edit even quite complex multi-camera shots. I've already done several live videos for my bands with iMovie, shot with up to four different iPhones. With no previous video editing experience, aside from trimming TV recordings years ago… Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Sonoma > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 18 > Affinity v2

(Optionally, produce some of your graphics using either Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer.) Then, using the timings set in the presentation - along with any fancy transitions between slides - export to movie/video… Quote —— Gary —— Photo/Designer/Publisher: Affinity Store, v2.6.n release (and, since I have the space, the last v1 versions too).
