Ldina Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Here's a fun composite. I saw a cool tutorial online for making solid objects appear glass-like, which I used for this composite. The original pottery was black, with yellow/orange flourishes, and photographed in a studio setting. The figurine inside the 'glass' was a Meso-American clay figure I photographed in a museum. I warped the background a little in an attempt to simulate refraction of light passing through glass. I thought it was an interesting technique and will share the link to the YouTube Tutorial for those who are interested. There are a number of good, similar tutorials on YouTube. AffinityJules Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Ah! The old transparency technique. 😀 Coincidently, the current composite I'm working on will require a bit of that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe. These are not my own words but I sure like this quote.
