Affinity Publisher, save as problem

I like to rearange my document to other purpoose, so I like to save with other name - can't did, open in package folder and do changes alredy and save normaly, yust save as don't work

Hi @Iztok,

Could you detail the steps you're taking in a list, or correct the steps below? I'm slightly unsure what you're trying to do and what exactly isn't working.

1. Create a Publisher document
2. Use File → Save as Package to save the .afpub file as a .afpackage file together with the Fonts and Image files to a new empty folder
3. Close the .afpub document
4. Open .afpackage file from step 2
5. Make changes to the .afpackage document
6. Use File → Save as to save the updated file as a .afpub file in the same folder as the original .afpackage file

I have alredy did, .afpackage and .afpub are in the same folder. I also yust copy document with alt move, document is same size different name like 2, but can't be open, cant be save as, what a mess. I have all in same folder

Both files open without issue here, though I don't have access to the linked files, but I can't see why that would be an issue...

Alt (Option) dragging to make a duplicate file works as expected, and the duplicated file opens.

Sorry to be a pain, but if possible, could you make a screen recording clearly showing us what you're seeing so we can try to figure out where the process isn't working for you...

let try to resaave it, in resorce manager everything is linked and OK , I try to do new pockage, same result cant resave or can't create package, crazy loop, even get massage that cann't be opened because create wit version 1

I do get a Failed to Save if trying to save either document as a .afpackage file, but that's because I don't have the fonts installed, and I don't have the linked images. If I untick Fonts and Images when saving the package, it saves as would be expected...

I have all but have the same result, so this is Bug, missing font should not be the case to refuse Save as command, don't you think? And more I have the same when I have Folder number 10 with same stuff but can made new package 11, so something else is there. Meanwhile was upgrade to 2.6.2. 

And package was created in Affinity 1?? what is that massage?

Can't even get PDF, now is corrupt file?

I create new package and I try to open, app, crash, something is realy siriously wrong I have 160 of my work and I can't do anything

Hi @Iztok,

Can you zip the .afpackage file along with the Images folder and upload the zip file so we can see whether we can open the file…

Both files you uploaded earlier that you couldn’t open which we could suggests there may be an issue with your PC.

If we can open the file then we can resave it for you in the hope you’ll be able to open it again.
