nyagao Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Hi Affinity Team, First of all, thank you for your amazing work with Affinity Photo. I really love using it every day! I have a request that would make the painting workflow even smoother: Could you please add shortcut key assignments for the "Reset Brush" and "Load Brush" buttons? ■ Request: Please allow keyboard shortcut assignments for: The "Reset Brush" button in the Brush Tool The "Load Brush" button in the Paint Mixer Brush Tool ■ Reason for this request: These operations are frequently needed during workflow, but currently require mouse interaction each time, which interrupts smooth creative flow. Especially for "Reset Brush", macros or brush presets cannot fully replace this functionality, and having a shortcut would greatly improve efficiency. ■ Suggested Implementation: Add "Reset Brush" and "Load Brush" commands into the Keyboard Shortcuts settings Allow users to freely assign their preferred key combinations I believe this feature would significantly enhance Affinity Photo’s usability and benefit many creators. Thank you very much for your consideration! Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Welcome to the Affinithy forums. Are both of these requests about the Paint Mixer Brush? If so, what would Reset Brush do? Is that the same as Clear Brush (when English is used as the interface language)? In that case, I think C will do what you want, but it's not configurable. The Status Bar should show you the available shortcuts, including that one. And the Status Bar should also show L for Load, which though not configurable should solve your other request, I think. (Neither of these seem to be documented, though I thought they were at one time.) carl123 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
