Hi all, I have created label files that I print multiples on one page. I have 2 questions.

1 - I am using the "place" function to insert the label on a page, to then fill the page with multiples. On some of the filled pages, IF I changed the original embedded files it changes the original file. On other filled pages, the changes only occur with the images on the filled page. Also, I did some updates the original files, changed colors and fonts, and  when I opened the "full page" files the updates were on some of them but not others. I am clearly doing something different, but I don't know what.

2- Is there a secret way to change out the "placed" embedded file on a page so it fills the whole page rather than placing each one then rename the file. For a simple example IF I have a page full of blue dots that say "HI" and I want to change them to green dots that say "BYE" in the same exact position on the page. Is that doable? 9I have 36 designs that are the same shape and size but different copy and colors.)

Thanks for any help. I am totally self taught and I'm getting by so far, but thinking there might be a better way.

For the first case where some change and some don't I think some are linked, not embedded.

The way I do this is to use the Resource Manager. Just choose the image that has a disclosure chevron and use the replace button, all the images change.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
