Affinity Designer Ipad v2 - Affinity Does Not Put The Nodes In the Place I Click

I zoomed in the drawing. 

 

I’m trying to put the node on the 4th curvy line. (From above or below It’s the 4th line. Does not matter.)

 

But It puts the nodes below where I click.

 

(At first It goes well but then the curve goes up then It puts the nodes below where I click. If I click marginally above where I want then It goes far above.)

 

What’s wrong?

What are you using to "click"? Finger, Apple Pen, Mouse, ... ?

It can be difficult to hit the exact spot, but if you miss you can press Cmd on the keyboard or on the Command Controller which will switch temporarily to the Node Tool, and you can drag the node into the position you want.

What does cause hit the exact spot? Because there are many layers? Snapping is off as well.

You are tracing lines which are already vectors, might well be easier to separate out the vector curve you want in a different colour or as I show here on the desktop version select the desired dress size and copy to a new document, or if you want to go down the trace route then flatten each "page" so that they don't contain vectors already.
