I’m not quite sure how to describe this irritation I have with Tabs!  Probably I’d like the Tab width to aways be consistent in width.
If I have a number of Tabs open and then start to close them all down, one at a time, the last ‘X’ is always right over on the far right!
I can’t just go, click, click, click it has to be click, click, move mouse right over, click!
Petty and silly I know, but I find it annoying!

The standard Windows keyboard shortcut Ctrl+W will close the current document window, just as it does in other Multiple Document Interface (MDI) programs. If you use keyboard shortcuts for things like this there’s no need to move your mouse at all!

Thank you for your reply.
I'm aware of Ctrl+W - this is common to a lot of programs, but when I've just been doing a lot of mouse things to a design, clicking the Tab close button seem apt in that case.

Other tabbed programs, I'm using a Tab in Firefox for this reply, have a maximum width setting for Tabs.  All I'm suggesting is why can't Affinity programs do the same!
