All apps are still swapping screens left to right on multi-display systems. This is an ongoing problem. A fix was promised after 2.6.0. It's still broken in 2.6.2. Any workarounds other than manually moving all the screen panels every time I start an Affinity app? Frustratingly tedious.

Hi @phart apologies for the delayed response.

This isn't an issue I've been able to re-produce on a dual monitor setup in 2.6.2 so far, the studio panels positioned on my secondary (right hand) display always remember their position between app restarts. If you're encountering this issue there's likely local environment differences factoring in, so we'd be grateful if you could provide and confirm the following:

  • What version of Windows are you using?
  • Are you using the MSIX or MSI/EXE version of the apps?
  • Does this occur on every restart of the apps, or just intermittent/randomly?
  • Can you provide a screenshot of your Windows display settings, and also confirm which is the primary display?
  • Are both displays external, and connected to the same Graphics card?
  • Can you provide a screen recording demonstrating this behaviour?

Many thanks

Seems you are correct. I believed the problem was still there as it happened when I was up grading to 2.6.2. Now that 2.6.2 is installed on all apps the problem does not appear when starting the app. My bad.

Thanks Mark
