Jim Fisher Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I just updated Affinity Photo 2 through the app to v2.6.2 and all my assets are missing. This includes assets I purchased and the assets I manually added. I am using a M1 MacBook Pro, Sequoia 15.1.1 16GB RAM. In looking, I see my assets are missing in ALL my Affinity software. The assets were there before updating Affinity Photo to v2.6.2. Can I restore my assets from the assets.propcol file or some other file? Do I need to manually rebuild all my assets? Not a happy camper at the moment. Quote
Staff NathanC Posted May 8 Staff Posted May 8 Hi @Jim Fisher apologies for the late response, Sorry to hear that, it appears that the assets may have corrupted during the update process. I've observed in your local user data screenshot there is an 'assets.propcol_backup1' file, so it may be possible to potentially recover some of the assets. If you rename your existing 'assets.propcol' to 'assetsOLD.propcol' and then rename the backup1 file to 'assets.propcol' this will hopefully allow you to restore the asset files. Quote
