Occurs with both Affinity files and PSDs. This happens spontaneously, the larger a file gets. Started happening recently in Affinity 1.0, so I upgraded, and it's now happening in 2.0. What is this, and how long until you fix this problem? This is unacceptable, i just lost an hour of work, and it's going to keep happening.

What OS do you use, and what kind of computer. Details of your GPU might also help.

It's probably obvious to you what the corruption looks like, but we have to guess. Can you be more specific? For example, is it that orange rectangle or something else?

Each layer has arbitrary chunks taken out of it.

I've attached a similarly damaged version of the file, sorry i saved over the other file, i've been troubleshooting all morning. The yellow square is intentional in the original image.

You're welcome, @alutes. Thanks for the system details and the file; I'll try to take a look later.

Question: Do you have Hardware Acceleration (OpenCL) enabled in the Performance section of the application Settings? If so, does it help if you disable that setting and restart? And have you ensured that your GPU drivers are up-to-date?

I've turned acceleration off, and updated my driver. I've been working long enough that i'm expecting the losses to start happening, and it's going well so far. Hopefully one of those changes did it, thank you so much!
