julians Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Hi, the export progress window always sits on top of all other windows (from all applications) on my Mac and cannot be moved. This is extremely annoying, as I can’t really do anything else while an export is running. Is there any way you could make it a regular window that doesn’t block me from using my Mac? loukash Posted April 23 Posted April 23 My personal "trick" since many years to avoid such nuisances is the use of multiple Spaces/Desktops. For example, my Affinity apps are assigned to Desktop 2, whereas the browsers, Mail and Messages are assigned to Desktop 3; having four desktops in total. That's a setup I've been using ever since multiple desktops/spaces were introduced in MacOS over 15 years ago. Each desktop can be assigned a global keyboard shortcut in System Setings, so it's easy to switch back and forth. And it also helps to stay focused and not getting too distracted by other seemingly "interesting things"… Old Bruce 1 Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Sonoma > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 18 > Affinity v2
