A regression? This worked without a problem in 2.6.0.

1) Create a document with e.g. 17 A4 pages.

2) Rotate the first page by 90°.

3) Try to print pages 2-17 as booklet on A3, Flip short side.

Result: The print preview is shown red and page 2 is now on the left side.

I changed the title of the topic, because I just found out, that this bug is not caused by a rotated page.

Even with all pages in portrait orientation, printing pages 2 to 17 has the wrong output. The only difference is that don't get the red overlay for exceeding size.

Hi @joe_l,

Affinity won't reorder the pages on the Print dialog like some apps will.  As this is a 17 page document and you are telling Affinity to print pages 2-17 that is what Affinity will do.  If you wanted Page 2 on the left, in this case you'd need to insert a blank page between pages 1 and 2, then call up the print window.  If we had an option where you could change the binding side, you'd also be able to do this.

Booklet printing is normally based on a multiple of 4 pages, so starting with 17 pages wouldn't be the normal workflow.

I'll get this moved to Feedback and Suggestions.
