jumpy interface on 2.6.2 update

I just updated Designer to 2.6.2 and it seems to have affected ui components, ui is jumpy and objects are acting like they are locked or fixed in position so if you drag they pop back to starting position, the weird thing is it's happening in Photo also. It occured when I switched from Photo to Designer and was prompted by Designer to apply 2.6.2 update, then it's like navigational context got messed up, and switch  between dialogs began acting up, and in the end I it wasn't recognizing changes to file so no way to save. Should I do a reinstall of apps?

Which version of Windows are you using? You can add this information to your forum signature together with other useful info about your system, so that it’s automagically included every time you post.

Did you use the MSIX installers or the MSI/EXE installers when updating Designer and Photo?

Windows 11, I have be running the updates from the prompts when I open the Affinity apps, this 2.6.2 seem to run this update without me needing to do anything, iow, no maually download and install

Hi @markimark,

I'd recommend uninstalling (Windows Settings -> Installed apps) and re-installing using the alternative MSI/EXE(x64) install method, and then rebooting your PC and seeing if these same issues occur from a new app session again.

Thanks I think I'll have to, there's also an issue switching from Publisher to Designer, everytime no matter which publisher doc I'm trying to switch from I get a message in Designer that the file is already open.

Well, that didn't work, I'm going to open a new bug as I originally had reported jumpy interface and I'm not seeing that at the moment, but can consistently repeat this bug.
