MoonaticDestiny Posted April 20 Posted April 20 In the stroke panel, the pressure is located at the bottom of the panel. This is bad placement design because if you need to scroll down in your stroke panel you can not. You cant because the placement of where you put your finger to scroll down is placed on the pressure box. Which doesnt allow you to scroll down. Instead, you have to place your finger somewhere above the pressure for you to be able to scroll down. I dont know why in v2 the pressure was moved from the top to the bottom but it should be move back to the top so that users are allowed to scroll down in their stroke panel. I don’t see this as a problem. Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
MoonaticDestiny Posted April 20 Author Posted April 20 It is a problem. Try scrolling down in the stroke studio. Watch how it wont scroll down because of the placement of the pressure. Alfred Posted April 20 Posted April 20 As I observed in my previous post, the ‘Pressure’ label above the graph provides a convenient scrolling point. In fact, trying it again now I find there is no problem scrolling up or down so long as I avoid the area where the graph resides. Friend, I understand you but youre avoiding the issue because YOU found a convenient scrolling point for YOURSELF. The issues still remains & other users dont know about YOUR convenient scrolling point. I agree that placing your finger on the wording "Pressure" above the graph allows you to scroll up but I should be able to scroll up no matter where I place my finger. My finger naturally goes to the bottom of the panel to scroll up, but I cant scroll up because the graph editor isnt a scrolling point. You have to conveniently find an area above that will allow you to scroll. I dont know why affinity moved the graph editor at the bottom when it was originally at the top in v1. Moving it down now prevents users from scrolling up. You have to find a convenient scrolling point for yourself to able to scroll up. As I said, the ‘Pressure’ label isn’t the only place that works for me. 9 hours ago, Alfred said: I find there is no problem scrolling up or down so long as I avoid the area where the graph resides Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
