Catshill Posted April 19 Posted April 19 If I export a JPG (reducing the resolution to 1024x768 @ 95%) from Ade I get different resolutions if I export the Artboard rather than the Whole Document. Even though the Whole Document is the same size as the Artboard, the Artboard export is half the resolution of the Whole Document export. Quote
Hangman Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Hi @Catshill, I'm not seeing any differences here with a test file. Both exported JPG's are 1024x768 and have the same resolution as the source file. What is the actual difference in resolution that you see? Could you upload a sample Designer document that demonstrates the issue? Catshill Posted April 22 Author Posted April 22 I've done some testing, and I believe that I failed to take into account that when you toggle between Export Artboard <> Whole Document, the export resolution is reset. The rule I have learnt when exporting, is that if you are changing the export area and resolution, you must change the resolution after the area. Thanks to @Hangman for prompting me to investigate further. Quote
