VectorCat Posted April 19 Posted April 19 I placed an afdesign image in my Publisher document. Is there a way to give the placed image a background fill, or must I create a separate box, fill that, and place it behind the placed afdesign image? Thank you Quote

Is it a multi-layer file with some combination of vector, pixel, text, adjustment, etc. objects or what? lepr Posted April 19 Posted April 19 @VectorCat If you don't want to edit the placed document (PD) by double-clicking it, another filled object will be required. It can be behind the PD or it can contain the PD. A vector Rectangle or other shape would do, or there is an actual Picture Frame object in Publisher. The PD can be given a Picture Frame by command Convert To Picture Frame, and then the frame can be given a fill and 'show fill' enabled in the context toolbar. Quote
VectorCat Posted April 22 Author Posted April 22 Yeah, the context toolbar was the answer..I was assuming that the bounding box of the placed graphic could be filled...not so much. RC-R - the image in question is 100% vector, from AF Designer. Quote
