I wish the window palettes would stay put. Every session I have to readjust the palettes position or size because they do not remain where I set them last session. This is true of all Affinity apps.

So infuriating and a waste of time.

I have a studio preset set up but it never 'holds'. Every session its a pot luck where everything will be.

I'd like to set it and forget it.

What OS do you use?

Do you have multiple monitors, and do you change the monitor configuration or is it static?

Hi Walt

Yes I have two monitors, but they remain static. Never change configuration, at least intentionally. Maybe some app sets things in the background (this happens with audio all the time) but not to my knowledge, not that I have noticed.

And in other apps that allow UI layout customization everything stays put upon close/launch cycles. Only Affinity Designer and Photo have I noticed this behavior. Kinda wierd. Every time at least one palette will be disconnected and out of place from the set. And the layers palette always seems to need me to resize it so I can see the buttons along the bottom.

Apparently macOS Catalina:

@influxx: In case you didn’t know, you can include your OS and other system specs automagically via your forum signature.

Yes, need to do that. Thanks for the reminder.
