I'm using the AD Pencil tool. If I deselect the stroke with escape then start a new stroke, the new stroke reverts to "default" (at the top of the stroke panel). I'd like all strokes to "stick" to a saved pressure profile instead of always reverting to the default stroke.

Can you provide a screenshot showing "default" in the AD Stroke panel?

To use a current custom pressure curve as the sticky property, set the controller in the context toolbar to an option other than "Automatic". – Compare:

• MacBookPro Retina 15" |  macOS 10.14.6  | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
• iPad 10.Gen.  |  iOS 18.5.  |  Affinity V2.6

This works!. Another Q:

When I start a stroke it always uses FILL and stroke. I have menu bar>Stroke circle selected. Anyway to use Stroke only without having to go to fill color and select transparent?

I can’t check right now, but there should be a ‘Use fill’ option on the Context toolbar.
