Hi, I'm creating labels of various sizes in Publisher using print/N-UP to export multiple labels to PDF on an A4 sheet, and then printing the PDF. This appears to be the only way to create multiple labels on a single A4 for printing. There does not appear to be an N-UP facility in "Export to PDF".
The problem is, the N-UP settings print settings are not saved with the document. I have to set them up again each time I open a document. I have created a print preset, but it does not always work. I have to change the preset to default and then back to the correct preset for the document to even accept the preset. Plus, then the "Fill last page" checkbox is not checked, so I have to do that each time too. This is a real pain as I have to do this for every document I create and re-open.
Is there any way to save the N-UP settings with the document? I'm on a Mac, not windows.

Hi @ideal and welcome to the forums.

Why don't you create templates? If you also have Designer, you can switch to the Designer persona in the Publisher and create the individual label as a symbol.
Then position the first symbol. Then press the enter key. In the PowerDuplicates dialogue, select the horizontal offset and enter the value for the duplicates to be created.
Now select all label layers and group them.
With the group layer selected, press the Enter key again and set the value for the vertical offset and the number of copies.
In the File menu, select Save as template
