Hello,

This issue is quite distressing and making it impossible to work. It keeps crashing after doing minimal transformations in a document that just isn’t that heavy.

Sorry to hear about your issue.

 

  1. Please try to restart the iPad first.
  2. Then check if there is sufficient disk space available.
  3. if the issue persists check if the issue is bound to one file, or happen with newly created files or other file, and answer to this thread what you found out so far.
  4. we will need iPad model, iPad IS version, Affinity App versions.

I use iPad screenshots and videos even in the Desktop section of the forum when I expect no relevant difference.

I’m having the same issue today, it happens when I try to use the smudge tool. All my files are on an external hard drive except for this one I’m working on (plenty of disk space). Tried restarting, new document etc to no avail. 
 

ipad- iPad Pro 5th gen

iPadOS 17.6.1

Affinity Designer 2 for iPad Version 2.6.2

 

any help is appreciated, I’m on a deadline 😅
