Generating PDF-Bookmarks with Publisher from the table of contents only

I've been searching the web and here in the forum for a long time now, read a lot and still haven't found an answer to my question. Perhaps I have simply overlooked it.

When exporting a book with several chapters, I would like to generate the bookmarks from the table of contents only. Currently, however, the section names or title fields are also exported and placed at the beginning of each chapter. What do I have to do so that the titles or section names are NOT exported?

Welcome to the forums @FrankE & apologies for the delayed response,

If you open the 'Anchors' panel (Window -> Interactive -> Anchors), you should be able to control which Anchors and TOC bookmarks are included in the export via the 'Export as PDF Bookmark' flag on the right-hand side of the Anchor. If the entry you wish to exclude exists as part of the TOC, double-clicking the entry should reveal this option, allowing you to disable the flag. It would be best to do this just prior to export as updates to the TOC can override the flag and enable it again.
