Jobode Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Hello guys I did find an entry on this in the forum. But I still haven't checked where and how exactly I can set it. I have received a PDF which I would like to partially edit in Affinity Designer. However, after importing it into Designer, it does not show me the “whole” PDF. The white border with the cut lines etc. is missing. Where exactly can I find the setting for Affinity to show me the entire PDF? Thank you very much Here is the original PDF: and here after the import into Affinity Designer Quote
loukash Posted April 17 Posted April 17 If your Designer document is artboard based, then the crop marks will be automatically placed outside the artboard bounds; that's by design. However, there is a known issue with Artboards and bleed in general: an artboard object will hide content outside its bounds, hence you can't see the crop marks on canvas. (Sometimes it can be considered a "feature" but most of the times this can be an annoying bug…) Solution: In the Layers panel, simply drag the imported PDF group above the Artboard layer to see everything. Jobode Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 Thank you very much, that helps me a lot. It would be nice if Affinity could make it selectable whether the artboard displays the crop marks or not... loukash 1 Quote
